This trail traverses through Coast Live Oak woodland, Eucalyptus groves, mature stands of Monterey Pines, and crosses through open grasslands. It is recommended that you begin your hike from the De Anza Trailhead, located in the main parking lot. From the trailhead you will hike though Oak woodland as you gradually climb up to the top of the park. Upon reaching the top you will be rewarded by fantastic views of the San Francisco Bay, S.F International Airport, and Mount Diablo. The trail continues though open grassland, before descending through Eucalyptus groves, crosses the trail junctions to the San Bruno City Park, and Live Oak Nature Trail.
