The Franciscan Trail begins and ends on the Edgewood Trail and ends at the Ridgeview Trail shortly before it descends to meet the Sunset Trail. The trail begins and ends in oak woodland but has a mile of open grassland in the middle. There are two benches along this trail – one with views of the bay and the other overlooking grassland.
