This map represents the approximate boundaries of the Montecito Riparian Corridor, as confirmed through aerial overflights conducted in 2006. However, it is understood that the corridor's edges, especially onto adjacent undeveloped parcels, may have expanded or retracted (as confirmed by the applicants' most current biological study of the respective parcels). In such cases, the development of that parcel, relative to its current riparian growth coverage, is held to the applicable LCP (Sensitive Habitat Component) Policies (7.7 - 7.13). Any intention to proceed with an application for development that would run counter to those policies must first be thoroughly reviewed by the Community Development Director and County Counsel.
